Who needs the stress!!
When things get a little hot...I just log out. A lot of the bickering is nonsense and a waste of time, some too trivial to even bother with.
I like to laugh and smile.....

on august 29, 2001, i stumbled upon a web site like no other i have ever found in cyberspace, and i have been hooked ever since.
the purpose of this thread is to say thank you to everybody for your help, advice, and support, for putting up w/ my craziness, and entertaining my fluff w/ your replies.
when i first posted here, with that 'relatives and relationships' thread, i was overwhelmed by the responses i got from people who really cared and wanted to help me.
Butal,
I think what Farkel meant was that you probably wouldn't want to eat anything that eats t's own poop! Yucky!!!!
my husband has a new co-worker that has struck up conversation with him regarding jws.. she is a jw and knows he's a christian and is trying to talk with him.
no problem right?
my husband and i have been ministering to jws for 7 years now and this shouldn't be a problem-- .
Lilacs,
Careful with Babelfish, though. It's not too acurate...I've found many errors using it, and I've found myself always having to make corrections.
a friend emailed this to me at work and i wanted to share it....hope you enjoy it as much as i did.. .

You are sooo right! I think we would all feel healthier and happier if we looked at things around us, like the fall leaves that your mother loved so much, and see the beauty in them. In itself, the leaves do not represent the END of Summer, but a BEGINNING of a new season...how thankful that we have made it this far and to be able to observe and feel these changes around us. I try to see things for what they are and enjoy the moment....because that too will be just a memory.
Take those leaves and keep them as a memory of the love that your mother had for them, and see them through her eyes.

> I had a very special teacher in high school many years ago whose

Angie,
Barnes and Noble book store has some pretty good translation material. I'm bilingual, so if I can help, please let me know.

puts plugs in his ears from the start.. now, it don't seem to be my imagination, but many ladies for some inexplicable reason seem a tad unreasonable at least once a month where anything i do seems to be wrong in their eyes.
most ruddy irksome it is from a guys point of view i can tell ee.
here we are, quite happy in our own right, say something to this here balmpot, and wowwwwww irritable utterances just tumble forth with such degrees of unreasonableness tis almost funny to observe, but dare i laugh in their presence whilst she be in this most unpredictable of states?
I'm sorry, but I have never understood what the whole problem has been with women and their periods. I feel I can talk, because I'm 100% woman....and I love it!! I must say, though, I have never experienced the horrible stories associated with getting your period. I'm sure there are quite of few ladies out there that would agree...it isn't always that bad, is it?
Now, I'm sure that there are ones that have suffered terribly because of painful menstrual cycles...I had a friend that would be in tears every month. I really felt sorry for her, but I still have a difficult time believing that all woman have it that bad. I love being a woman and everthing associated with it......
on friday night i watched a report by abc tv's john stossel (in the normal 20/20 time slot) that dealt with how humans are influenced by looks.
it was a re-broadcast, and even though this was the second time i've seen it it was still fascinating.
to demonstrate whether we are influenced by appearance, several scenarios were set up, involving people considered attractive and those considered more 'plain'.
I'm guilty too.....good looks certainly attract me. That would definitely make my head turn or take a glance. Unfortuntately I've found that the majority of good looking guys out there are attached to a rotten egos, or boring personalities. I'd have to say that looks is what makes me take notice, but his personality would keep me coming around. Personality and a good head on his shoulders would be priority for me.
I'm 5'1", but I tend to like taller men. I've dated men that have been 6'.....it didn't bother me if it didn't bother them. I wouldn't be attracted to a very short man, though....too much like a kid!
I would also believe that I have friends in all shapes and sizes, but now that I think back, I think I have tended to buddie up with the better looking friends....odd isn't it?
i took off work early today, picked up my little girl at 2pm and took her to the park.
she is 15 months old now.
walking and running; pointing and chattering.
Sally,
That was so sweet!!! It reminds me of my own when they were tiny. Doesn't it make all the worries wash away just to see them sqeal and laugh? I love it!! My son is now 10, and my daughter is 7....they don't need me anymore to have fun, I just join them now! I still treasue the moments when they got their fist taste of independence, like your little girl.
Diamond, (by the way, I didn't realize there was a Diamond out on the board until AFTER I posted under my board name...sorry)
Teenagers? Yikes! I'm not too sure I'm looking forward to that time....
for me, it was the nfc championship game three years ago in order to attend the meeting, then, on top of that, the elders had *scheduled* a meeting for that day as well, to discuss the co visit.
then there was a "supplemental" elder's school held a few years back that took me away from the afc title game.
oh, i taped the stuff, but time-shift recording of sports just doesn't cut it.
A scholarship to a local college. I chose not to go because I would miss Thursday meetings.
